Surf Sports is an exciting and important part of life at Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club. It combines skill, fitness, teamwork, and fun β€” helping members develop as lifesavers while enjoying the ocean in a competitive and social environment.

Over the years, Fingal Beach members have competed at local, branch, and state levels, achieving successes both in the water and on the sand. We're continuing to develop our Surf Sports program and welcome members interested in training, competition, coaching and officiating.

Surf Sports at Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club is all about having fun, staying active, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive ocean community. Whether you're a beginner, an experienced lifesaver, or looking to compete, there's a place for you.

Who Can Join

Members can train and represent Fingal Beach in suitable disciplines and competition divisions as the Club's program develops.

Do I need to be a lifesaver to do Surf Sports?

No. Surf Life Saving NSW states that Surf Sports competitions do not require a lifesaving qualification. To represent Fingal Beach, contact the Club’s Surf Sports team to confirm the appropriate age division, entry process and any event-specific conditions.

What age groups are there?
